Mattsee

On our quest to find a versatile playground, we stumble upon the Bajuwaren Freilichtmuseum, where we learn a lot about early settlers. Some of these buildings are in use as book shed and can be booked as community meeting rooms.

The collegiate church of St. Michael in Markt Mattsee is an early Gothic building from around 1276, at the time we were there the bells were already calling the town to the 10 o’clock service.
While we are invited to take a closer look at the park.
