Santa Parade

This year, we cheered for the Nelson Parade which was held already end of November. And despite all the similar faces, it ended with a big surprise! :D

Haka preceding the actutal parade.

And the famous Twisty Twinz on stilts.
Let the cars come!
What a muppet ;)
St John’s got the bear’s back.
And gives out balloons galore.
But where’s that voice coming from? … Ahhhhh.
Need more of these bubbles.
Flying ice princess.
Samba? Salsa? Well, the did dance quite a bit.
… until the nativity scene came up.
Hey, cute!
I can see Santa’s sleigh!!!
And there he is! Our Maori Santa! Yeah! A well meaning gesture that even made it into the newspapers!
