Hanmer Springs

Good bye Kaikoura, hello Hamner Springs! Along the Alpine Fault, the curving fault line in the NZ area, splitting Oceanic from Australian plate, we drove to the thermal village Hamner Springs. In winter time, it’s renowned for its ski fields, in summer it can be starting point for short walks as well as tours of several day’s duration. As we’re expecting a cold and rainy day tomorrow, we’ll stick to the thermal plan: Indulge the service and advantages of the warm springs, bathe, have massage, fun, pastime.
