Last week, when I was worried about one of our Sussex hens, she seemed to be eggbound? All good! She survived! And produced an extremely big >first< egg. I bet she didn’t know what struck her when this double sized thing popped out: And we were fascinated to find two yolks in it! Thanks to everybody for advice, emotional backup and roast chicken recipes (won’t need the latter, thanks) :)
