I admit it, the chicken tractor was more a temporary solution, a nice method to use chicken as lawn mowers, but they really need a bit more space to run and scratch. So we have fenced off a 400 m² area with a 2 m high wind break fence. In an afternoon or two I then built the chicken a new house, attached to the fence. The nestboxes can be accessed from the outside of the chicken run and the house is protected from predators with wire at the bottom.
