When we’ve last been here about 3 years ago, Pupu Springs looked a bit different. DOC has built a welcoming entry with loads of information boards about these impressive springs which are one of the clearest on Earth according to Wikipedia. If you would be allowed to dive (which you are of course not, because it’s a sacret place for Maori), you would be able to see 63 meters! It’s basically a whole river coming up from a hole in the ground.
