The coastline at the Motueka shore is very flat, something we’d call “Watt” in German. The influence of tide on this area is enourmous and shifts the whole landscape from >all moon< to >perfect beach<. In the following some pics of the Motueka Sandspit at high tide and the next morning (low tide).
