First approach at Abel Tasman NP

The smallest of New Zealand’s National Parks just in front of our staircase, we will do the tracks and walks there not only once but as often as we can spare time or the weather stays so nice as it did today. Abel Tasman is well known for its golden beaches, the sculptured granite cliffs and the famous coastal track that starts in Marahau and leads towards north to Totaranui. There are several huts to stay over night, but this time we did just a 2 hours walk at low tide. Maybe an extended version next time.
