Coromandel Town

At the outermost corner of Coromandel Peninsula, the township of Coromandel lies. Victorian architecture and a love for renovating holds it together, what a nice little community. We got ourselves breakfast at a farmer’s market fundraiser where women of the are sold bakeware, sushi and other selfmade stuff. At the local 4-square-supermarket we supposedly were the joke of the day when we left with just 4 apples (New World’s big-shelves-addictives). The road to Auckland took us a bit longer than our navi predicted (hell yes, it’s around the whole Hauraki Golf and the speed regulations on the Auckland area motorways “for your safety” were not helpful to get on)(90 km/h on a perfectly straight road? come on!).
