A rather long drive from National Park to Auckland, some “car business” and spare time in the park.

Auckland Botanic Gardens – 64 hectares of land with extensive plant showcases and permanent collection of sculpture.
“Butterfly” inspired by the movements of a dancer.
“Turn” a circling spring memorial.
Some curious visitors.
Hibiscus Richardsonii.
Tired wanderers.
“Waka” a gateway to the Threatened Native Plants Garden as a reference to the ancient totara tree growing behind this site.
