Summer Holidays 2019: NZ Parliament

I have wanted to visit the parliament since I came here for the first time more than 20 years ago and they told me it was called “The Beehive”. Once you see it, it’s clear why. But taking the guided tour today was an important step to get to know it better. Not only the buildings, the fancy rooms and beautiful hallways, the library. Also what the process of making laws is in this country and that it is not the only thing that the government is obliged to work on. Really informative indoors walk! Plus the earthquake fortifications for the two older buildings that were made between 1992-95. Amazing.
