Te Anau

Two nights at the Abba Motel (80ies here we come, in more than one regard)(the hotel standard in NZ can be really zero stars sometimes) we fled Queenstown, had lunch at Kingston, travelled along the red tussock plains south, then west until we reached our new destination: Te Anau. From there it’s a relatively short journey to Manapouri and the Fjordland, Dusky Sound, Doubtful Sound, Milford Sound. We chose the latter to be our tour goal for the next day, so we had a short walk through the city and went to bed early in the Village Inn. See the pics of the bathroom ~ no tap, the shower just a sprinkler bound to the wall with the water pressure of a peeing duck and shower curtains in pink, creepy :D
