Summer Holidays 2017: Fox, Lake Matheson and Gillespies Beach

Getting around in Fox is easy, the town is small. But the glacier can only be seen either from the vista point in the valley or the Lake Matheson “view of the views”. We tried both.
Afternoon sun on the fields shot.
Dark and gloomy paths through the bush.
Great mirror views.
More mirroring.
Balancing on the side of the boardwalk.
Big eyes wondering how far still?
Here it is: The view of the views.
A little gnome in its wooden cave.
Gillespies Beach: The old gold dredge.
Just a big heap of rusty pieces.
But still good for a closer look.
Flowers on the miners cemetery.
Old graves with long forgotten names.
The lower part of the Fox Glacier. Oh man, it has shrunk since we were last there :/
Look back into the valley.
Pleasure over the softdrinks at dinner.
