Camping at the orange beach.

Morningwaves at Totara the Beautiful.
When the sun came, so did the admirers.
Even more stunning than the sunset.
But it gets lighter soon and suddenly it’s day, full sun, hot, where’s my hat.
The seagulls see this spectacle every day.
They just stand there, watching us. Way more fun!
And we look at the horizon.
Later, we went North to Anapai.
A hidden gem just an hour away.
Interesting swampy stream.
With the Abel Tasman NP in the background.
This formation is just one beach further.
But beware, there’s always ‘one beach further’, it’s hard to stop yourself in these surroundings.
Just … follow the pathway up the beach again
and there is another beautiful, very empty beach.
Only us and the crabs.
And the random weka.
But all good things must end …
Back to the normal life over the hill, bye-bye!
