Night Walking Motueka

Encased in darkness, looking for lights to shine on our town.

Starting the walking meter at the local Recreation Centre.
Surprisingly, at 7 pm there was still a lot going on with the soccer girls.
Seemingly a busy evening also at the netball court.
Then a few hundred very dark steps on the connection pathway between cinema and Thorp Bush, leading to a guarded entry at Woodlands Ave.
Sneaking in the general direction of “Downtown Mot” behind Imagine Theatre.
Arriving at the local Spar Supermarket ;)
The new electric vehicle charging stations and a bit High Street.
More High Street with the closed Arcadia and the very open and frequented Bubbly Laundromat.
Our famous red pedestrian crossings.
Looking at the mannequins at Restore second hand shop.
Another legend in rural retail trade: Whitwell’s Menswear.
Beautiful crossings. Very quiet at night.
The Christmas fairy lights that never made it down this year.
8 pm – returning to the car with less artistic interruptions ;)

Schnitzel
