The Kiwi way

It was our plain daily walk, up some hill at Kaiteriteri and down to Stephens Bay, a small path through yellow blooming broom flowers down to the rocky beach at low tide, in full evening sunlight. We were strolling around until we met a couple that did some shellfishing – curiosity had us and we asked for more details and spontanously got some plastic bags to try ourselves. So we collected some very big green lipped  mussels just like they are sold at the supermarket. On the way home we got a bottle of wine, which did fine in the sauce we cooked then out of garlic, onion, parsley  … and it tasted great.

Die Muscheln sehen total lecker aus :-)

Weiterhin schöne Erlebnisse, tolle Ausflüge und lasst uns weiterhin dran teilhaben :-)
