Euphory!

It’s a bit like being in love with someone. The first months are the most exciting, everything is new and you experience an euphory that lets you do and think things you could never imagine before.

The general mood is: We’ve managed to move with our family to the other end of the world, we can do everything!

And so we scan local newspapers for “things to do” and there are plenty of offerings available: Start learning how to surf or play golf, join a scottish dance club, meet locals and make new friends on public events, join the puppet maker group at the school (Eva). For a moment we even consider making a pilot license after visiting open doors day at the local airfield!
